My stepdad died after being there just TWO DAYS!!! He was transported from Potomac Hospital around 2
pm. I got there after work -- around 6:30 to check on him. Found him lying in bed (head not
elevated at 90 degree angle...imperative so that he would not aspirate); and his feeding tube
machine had not been set up. However, there were TWO so-called nurses hovering over a VISITOR trying
to get her up off the floor after falling out of her wheelchair. Meanwhile, my father lie there
totally unattended to, and unable to move or speak after suffering a stroke! Two days later, I
received a call from one of the so called nurses saying that he had vomited twice, and was being
transported back to emergency. He died shortly after! These incompetent so-called nurses and poorly
run facility are substandard at best. You would be better off shipping them to a third world
country!By the way, the odor is not only from the patients, but the staff as well!
